The default logstream log compression alarm interval of 30
seconds is not modified after the
RLS_LOGSTREAM_COMPRESS_INTERVAL custom property value is
specified.

If the server is configured to use logstreams as the
transaction xa partner log, the default logstream log
compression alarm interval of 30 seconds remains unchanged
after having set a new value using custom property:
RLS_LOGSTREAM_COMPRESS_INTERVAL.

If native recovery log services traces are enabled and the
the RLS_LOGSTREAM_COMPRESS_INTERVAL value is set to something
other than 30 (seconds), following can be seen in the
Controller Region logs:

Problem conclusion

Code was updated to correctly read and set the new value set by
the custom property in question.

APAR PK81227 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.3 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0
for z/OS.
