Error description

A Core Group member may get a "Failed to Join Message to join
or establish a view with member" message when using the
Alternative Protocol Failure Detection Protocol for Core Group
Services. The result will be that the member does not reflect
the correct state within the core group.

The following message might be displayed: Message
DCSV8030I: DCS Stack <CoreGroup> at Member <Member Name> :
Failed to join or establish a view with member <Member Name>.

A java.util.ConcurrentModificationException will also be
displayed.

Problem conclusion

To prevent the ConcurrentModificationException, all add
actions to the pendingActions vector were moved into the
synchronized executePendingActions method.

APAR PK81294 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.3 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0
for z/OS.
