Error description

If an asset is deleted, the folder for that asset in the
installAssets directory of the profile no longer contains
anything (other than other empty directories) but is not deleted
 also. Eventually what happens is that a collection of empty
folders starts to build up in the installedAssets directory as
a result from importing and deleting many assets over time.

The installedAssets directory for an asset is populated on
standalone profiles even if the asset has not been deployed by
adding it to a BLA. The directories for an asset in the
installedAssets directory are not removed when the asset
contained within them is removed. Eventually a collection of
empty folders starts to build up in the installedAssets
directory as a result from importing and deleting many assets
over time.

Problem conclusion

The code has been modified to populate the installedAssets
folder for an asset only after it is added to a BLA, and to
delete the folder for an asset in the installedAssets directory
when the asset is removed from a BLA, leaving no other
deployments of the asset.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
