Error description

The WebSphere Proxy Server ignores the parameters of the URL
when caching objects.The following 2 URL's will return the
same cache object.
   http://server.com/app/ABU/ChartServlet/?par=123
   http://server.com/app/ABU/ChartServlet/?par=456
The query string is desired as part of the cache key.

*                      only uses the URL path to generate a    *
*                      cache key.                              *

The proxy server ignores the query string in the URL path when
ESI caching is disabled and the default cache key generator is
used. For some applications, this will cause proxy to return
incorrect responses from its cache.

Problem conclusion

To fix the problem, the following custom property is provided:

Custom Property Name:  cache.query.string
Custom Property Value: Boolean value [true | false]

When the custom property is set to true, the default proxy
cache key generator will use both URL path and query string
information to generate the cache key.

Note: the above custom property should be set under:
servers-> proxy servers-> proxy_server_name-> Http Proxy
settings-> Proxy settings -> custom properties.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 6.1.0.25 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the Recommended
