PK82319: INCORRECT MIGRATION OF NON-DEFAULT CORE GROUPS CAUSE SERVERS TO FAIL ON STARTUP DUE TO INVALID LIVELINESS SETTING

Error description

Servers in a non-default core group that was migrated from a
previous release will not start after migration has completed on
the federated node.  The non-default coregroups created during
the dmgr migration do not have valid liveliness settings.

*                      converted to v7 coregroups so servers   *
*                      fail to start                           *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

Version 7 coregroups support a new function called Liveliness,
and this data is not present in the previous versions of
coregroups.  When migration completes, this data does not
exist and v7 servers in the coregroup will fail to start
complaining about the missing liveliness data.

Problem conclusion

Migration now correctly initializes the liveliness with v7
default values for all coregroups that existed in the previous
release and do not exist in the target v7 dmgr profile.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
