Error description

A messaging engine using a file store as the message store
fails to start with the following errors:
CWSIS0002E: The messaging engine encountered an exception while
starting. Exception: com.ibm.ws.sib.msgstore.SeverePersistence
Exception: Unexpected exception caught initializing file store:
CWSOM1015E: ObjectManager unexpectedly caught
exception=com.ibm.ws.objectManager.StateErrorException:
CWSOM1003E: Object Internal
Transaction(15868.0)/Error/665e665e is now in error state, its
previous invalid state=0(int) Error(String). (Exception).

This issue might occur after a messaging engine using a file
store is terminated forcefully, or the file system used by the
file store becomes unavailable while the messaging engine is
active.

The problem is caused by mishandling of a particular recovery
log entry record by the file store. If the file store fails
while it is in the middle of completing a checkpoint, a
recovery log entry containing an image of a prepared
transaction may need to be replayed after replaying recovery
log entries containing actions for that transaction (including
the prepare action).
The state machine within the file store did not expect this
sequence of log records, and threw the CWSOM1003E exception.

Problem conclusion

The fix for this APAR updates the file store to handle the
specific combination of recovery log entries encountered in
this scenario. This allows the messaging engine to start.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 6.1.0.27 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the
