PK83737: ON HP-UX, THE PLUGIN IS MARKING AN APPLICATION SERVER DOWN DUE TO A CONNECT TIMEOUT EVEN THOUGH THE SERVER IS UP.

Error description

On HP-UX, the Plugin is showing a connect error even though the
application server is up.  The user has 2 application servers
and one of them has been stopped.  The server that is up is
getting the following error:
ERROR: ws_common: websphereGetStream: Failed to connect to app
server on host 'xxx', OS err=0.

Local fix

Changing the ConnectTimeout to 0 allowed it to work.

*                      zero even if the partner is up.         *

If the HP_UX Plugin does not connect initially an incorrect
error indicator is returned causing a incorrect path to be
taken.

Problem conclusion

Changed the module so that the correct error indicator is
returned therefore the correct path will be taken.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.5 currently scheduled for 08/10/2009.  Please
