Error description

1) BBOSCHED member should be modified to exclude the SYST
parameter.

2) The instructions should be updated to indicate that the
BBOSCHED text need only be added to the SCHEDxx member if the
customer is running z/OS 1.7 or z/OS 1.8.

The BBOSCHED member generated by the V7 zPMT needs to
be modified to exclude the SYST parameter.

The generated instructions need to be updated to indicate that
the BBOSCHED text need only be added to the SCHEDxx member if
the customer is using a z/OS level prior to z/OS 1.9

Problem conclusion

The BBOSCHED member produced by the zPMT has been updated to
remove the SYST entry.

The "Update SCHEDxx" section of the generated instructions have
been modified as follows:

Old text:
Note: When you are finished, issue the command SET SCH=xx to
activate SCHEDxx and load a new program properties table.

New text:
Note: This action does not need to be performed if the target
z/OS system is at z/OS 1.9 or above, as the BPXBATA2 entry that
the BBOSCHED member contains already exists in the
IBM-supplied PPT table at those z/OS levels.  When you are
finished, issue the command SET SCH=xx to activate SCHEDxx and
load a new program properties table.

APAR PK83899 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.5 of WebSphere
Application Server  for z/OS.  Refer to URL:

to download IBM WebSphere Customization Tools 7.0.0.5 when
available.
