Error description

WebSphere Application Server V6.1 AIX 5.3, customers may
experiencing high memory usage and the only workaround is to
reboot dmgr. The problem comes from Application Management
Workspace, some workspaces are left hanging around and need to
be properly closed via a code change.

*                      possibly empty, which are not cleaned   *
*                      up.                                     *

During application installation of an enhanced ear file, a
temporary workspace is created and might not be removed under
certain conditions. The names for these workspaces are
constructed as a sequence of approximately 14 or 15 digits,
e.g., [PROFILE ROOT]/wstemp/123507714564299.

Problem conclusion

During application installation, any temporary workspaces are
cleaned up.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.27 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the
