APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
An incoming web service message has a SOAPAction MIME Header with the value: "urn:anonOutInop". This SOAPAction is not defined in the WSDL message of the web service. Here are the error messages that may occur when this invalid SOAPAction is encountered during a Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) flow: . CWSXM3105E: Exception during transformation. This has been reported by the following entity: some entity . or . CWSXM3106E: Exception while parsing transformed XML: Premature end of file.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All IBM WebSphere Application Server * * Feature Pack for Web Services users of * * JAX-WS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A web service message is sent with an * * invalid SOAPAction (urn:anonOutInOp) * * which causes the receiver to fail. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The SOAPAction MIME header of a web service message provides targetting information for the receiving SOAP node. The sending SOAP node sets the SOAPAction MIME header using information gathered from the WSDL describing the web service. In this scenario, the sending SOAP node (which is implemented by the WebSphere Application Server) adds a SOAPAction with an invalid valid: "urn:anonOutInOp". The receiving node (which could be any vendor), will fail when this message is received. For example, in a Business Process Execution (BPEL) scenario, the receiving SOAP node (Websphere Application Server) may fail with a message similar to the the following: CWSXM3105E: Exception during transformation. This has been reported by the following entity: some entity or CWSXM3106E: Exception while parsing transformed XML: Premature end of file. The root of the problem is the sending SOAP node (Websphere Application Server) is applying an incorrect SOAPAction to the message.
Problem conclusion
The invalid SOAPAction value (urn:anonOutInOp) is an auto-generated value that is used inside the Web Services runtime when an actual SOAPAction is not defined. Due to an error in the transport sender logic, this auto-generated value was set on the outbound message. The code is corrected to prevent auto-generated soap action values from appearing in the SOAPAction. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 6.1.0.27 and 7.0.0.5.
