Error description

A new task, CopyBindingsTask was added to application update to
copy over the policy set binding files from the original ear
file to the updated ear file. This new task exposes a problem
with the test case set up - it causes an exception if the
binary is not expanded as required. Because stack products may
not expand the binary as required, we need to hide the
exception during application update so that this new task will
not cause failures in stack products.

The new task CopyBindingsTask, added to application update,
exposed a problem with the test case setup. It caused an
com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.AdminException because
the ear file was not expanded after zeroEarCopy application
install. Because stack products may not expand the binary as
required, we need to hide the exception during application
update so that this new task will not cause a failure in stack
products. Note that zeroEarCopy is an internal function not
exposed to the customers.

Problem conclusion

A try/catch block is added to CopyBindingTask so that the
exception thrown in the SM layer will not affect the
caller (WebSphere stack products).

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.25 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the
