Error description

When WebSphere Application Server trace is enabled for a client
application, and it includes the Websphere MQ JMS trace groups,
the trace file for the client application should contain the
WebSphere MQ trace.

Instead a file is created in the current working directory
beginning with "mqjms_" with a ".trc" extension containing the
WebSphere MQ JMS trace.

When WebSphere MQ trace is enabled in a WebSphere Application
Server client application (running outside of an application
server), the trace is output to a file beginning with
"mqjms_" with a ".trc" extension in the working directory of
the application.

This was due to incorrect initialization of the WebSphere MQ
JMS client by the WebSphere Application Server code.

Problem conclusion

The fix for this APAR corrects the initialization of the
WebSphere MQ JMS client to cause trace to be output to the
WebSphere Application Server trace location.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
