Error description

When attempting to start a server with security disabled, the
server abends with:

BBOO0035W TERMINATING THE CURRENT PROCESS, REASON=C9C20008

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a server is customized using the   *
*                      zPMT and "Do not enable security" is    *
*                      selected, the generated RACF statements *
*                      do not contain an entry for the RACF    *
*                      CBIND class. Unless the CBIND class is  *
*                      defined separately, the following       *
*                      abend will occur upon attempting to     *
*                      start the server:                       *
*                                                              *
*                      ABEND=SDC3 U0000 REASON=000C0008        *
*                                                              *
*                      with the message                        *
*                                                              *
*                      BBOO0035W TERMINATING THE CURRENT       *
*                      PROCESS, REASON=C9C20008.               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

The BBO*BRAK jobs generated by the zPMT only issue the RACF
command:

SETROPTS CLASSACT(CBIND)

if "Use a z/OS security product is chosen" in the zPMT panels.

This statement should always be issued by the generated
BBO*BRAK jobs, regardless of security type chosen.

Problem conclusion

The templates used to produce the RACF statements issued by
the BBO*BRAK jobs have been updated to always issue the command:

SETROPTS CLASSACT(CBIND)

APAR PK87449 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.7 of WebSphere
Application Server  for z/OS.  Refer to URL:

to download IBM WebSphere Customization Tools 7.0.0.7 when
available.
