PK88476: NOT ABLE TO CREATE SERVER WITH NAME ADMINAGENT IN THE ADMINAGENT PROFILE TYPE ON ISERIES

Error description

While creating the adminagent profile with a different profile
name other than "AdminAgent", the server name
adminagent is not allowed using manageprofiles command on an
iSeries system.

Error when running the manageprofiles command.

manageprofiles -create -profileName BennieAdmin01 -serverName
adminagent -templatePath management -serverType ADMIN_AGENT
-startingPort 52950

The following validation errors were present with the command
line arguments:serverName: The server name adminagent
is not valid for server type ADMIN_AGENT.  The server name must
be set to the profile name.

On iSeries, starting an application server will fail with
error "can not find NodeAgent MBean" if the administrative
agent profiles has a server name that is not "adminagent".

Problem conclusion

Code has been changed to use dynamically retrieved process name
instead of hardcoded "adminagent".
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9. Please refer to the recommended updates page
