In previous versions, the JSF tag implementation classes could
be extended. In the default JSF 1.2 implementation these
classes were made final in version 7.0. This will cause a
compilation failure for any customer extending these classes.

Problem conclusion

The tag classes were changed to no longer be final. Note that
it is not recommended to extend implementation classes as they
may change between releases and are not defined by the
specification.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
