Error description

On z/OS if a user uses the administrative console to navigate
to the "Resources->JMS Providers" panel and then selects a
server scoped WebSphere MQ messaging provider and makes
changes to its native path field, then when those changes are
saved the control region adjunct for that server will be
disabled even though it may have previously been enabled.

When navigating to the WebSphere MQ JMS provider at server
scope in the administrative console, the
"Enable JCA based inbound message delivery" checkbox is always
initialized unchecked, even if it has previously been set.

This means that clicking 'OK' on that page and saving the
configuration causes "Enable JCA based inbound message
delivery" to be unset in the configuration.

Problem conclusion

The fix for this APAR causes the "Enable JCA based inbound
message delivery" checkbox to be correctly initialized on
the WebSphere MQ JMS provider page in the administrative
console.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
page for delivery information:
