Error description

Bind JNDI name for business interface via administrative
console fails with following error message;

CWWMH0159E: Could not find step "CUOptions" in config data
repository.

Following is a link for "Bind JNDI name for business interface"
in the administrative console;

Applications > WebSphere enterprise applications  >
"application name" > Bind jndi name for business interface

This problem occurs if an application name has parentheses as
follows;

(AAA) Sample.ear

Local fix

This problem can be prevent by using the application name
without parenthese.

Applications with names that contain characters which are
special characters in regular expressions, such as
parentheses, cannot be edited.  For example, an attempt to
edit a JNDI name will reult in the following error:

CWWMH0159E: Could not find step "CUOptions" in config data
repository.

Problem conclusion

Regular expression special characters in application names were
not being handled correctly.  The problem has been corrected.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
