PK92260: PUBLIC RENDER PARAMETERS ARE NOT DELETED IN ACTION PHASE WHEN PARAMETERMAP RESET DIRECTLY AFTERWARDS

Error description

The scenario is as follows:

(1) Action phase processing
(1.1) ActionResponse.removePublicRenderParameter(String param)
is called to remove a public render parameter.
(1.2) ActionResponse.setRenderParameters(Map params) is called
passing in an (empty) map.
(2) Render phase
Failure: The public render parameter that has been removed in
the action phase is present.
Expectation: The public render parameter that has been removed
in the action phase is not available.

Changing the order of call (1.1) and (1.2) leads to the
expected behaviour. Looks like calling setRenderParameters
after removePublicRenderParameter revives the deleted public
render parameter.

Changing the order of call (1.1) and (1.2) leads to the expected
behaviour. In other words, calling setRenderParameters after
removePublicRenderParameter brings the deleted public render
parameter back to life.

Problem conclusion

The implementation behind
Actionresponse.removePublicRenderParameter() now stores the
parameters to be removed in a separate internal list and
merges missing entries into the complete parameter map,
whenever setRenderParameters() is being called.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
