In Websphere Application Server V7.0. The following messages are
found in SystemOut.log

RepositoryCac E   TUNE0408E: Could not refresh JVM
Configuration.
RepositoryCac E   TUNE0407E: Could not refresh repository cache

accompanied by the following exception in SystemErr.log

In WebSphere Application Server version 7.0 when Performance
Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) is enabled the following error
messages occur:

RepositoryCac E   TUNE0408E: Could not refresh JVM Configuration
RepositoryCac E   TUNE0407E: Could not refresh repository
cache .

The above are followed by the following NullPointerException

call is made from.

Problem conclusion

The code has been fixed in this scenario to avoid JVM
process handle to be null there by providing appropriate data
and avoiding the exceptions.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
