Error description

An EJB 3.0 module is published to a WebSphere Application
Server V7 server from Rational Application Developer using
remote server or run resources in server. When the
administrative console is opened to the Enterprise
Applications screen, the EJB module is not listed.

The application is Java EE 5 without a deployment descriptor
and the EJB 3.0 module has no deployment descriptor and
contains a  stateless session bean.

Deploying a descriptorless Enterprise Application from Rational
Application Server 7.5 that also contains a descripterless
Enterprise JavaBean module may result in an
OpenFailureException:

This problem is also unique to deploying the application's
resources to the server and not have them remain in the
workspace.

Problem conclusion

The fix for this problem is an internal code change for
WebSphere Application Server.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
