Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Personal Certificates are not * * displayed in the Personal Certificates * * panel of specified keystore. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** There is a condition that some hardware crypto card returns null certificate when all of personal certificates are enumerated. When this condition happens, ListPersonalCertifcate class doesn't return any of the personal certificates due to NullPointerExcetpion. As a result, none of Personal Certificates are listed on the panel.
Problem conclusion
With this fix, the code checks null object prior to accessing the objects. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.9. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
