Closed as program error.
Error description
It is possible for an incorrect imported WSDL or XSD file to be loaded while processing the WSDL document hierarchy for a JAX-WS web service application. If WSDL document(e.g. META-INF/wsdl/A.wsdl) imports another WSDL document with a relative import (e.g. "B.wsdl"), then it is possible that B.wsdl could be incorrectly found in the root directory of a jar file within the containing application EAR. The correct behavior is that the code should look for the relative file in the same location (directory) of the importing document (e.g. META-INF/wsdl in this situation).

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM WebSphere Application Server users of * * JAX-WS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The JAX-WS runtime could potentially * * load the incorrect version of an * * imported WSDL or XSD file during * * application startup. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Install a fixpack containing this APAR. * **************************************************************** Within a JAX-WS web service application EAR file, there could be multiple copies of a particular WSDL or XSD file. The files may be in different modules or in different directories within the same module. For example: moduleA.war contains files "WEB-INF/wsdl/A.wsdl" and "WEB-INF/wsdl/B.wsdl" which is imported by A.wsdl. utility jar file within the same EAR contains "B.wsdl" at the root level of the jar. While processing the A.wsdl file found in moduleA.war, the JAX-WS runtime might incorrectly load the B.wsdl from the utility jar instead of the B.wsdl from the moduleA.war. This incorrectly loading could cause unpredictable results or errors.
Problem conclusion
The fix for this APAR will correct the search algorithm used by the JAX-WS runtime to make sure that precedence is given to the version of the imported document that exists in the same location as the importing document. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.9.
