Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Problem selecting the correct * * listening point when several virtual * * hosts are defined * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When you have a few virtual hosts, the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) container will not select the correct SIP provider (listening point). When selecting a provider (before sending an outgoing message) the container should use the provider that has the same properties as the virtual host for this application (that is, host and port.) Without this fix it is possible that application that is set on virtual host1 port X will send an outgoing message from port Y by selecting an unmatched SIP provider.
Problem conclusion
The container will now select the SIP provider according to the configured virtual host. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.7 Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
