    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Incomplete responses could be cached *

    * RECOMMENDATION: If using caching and incomplete responses *
    * are possible, apply this fix. *
    ****************************************************************
An incomplete response is one in which the response headers
specify a Content-length, but the response body is shorter than
that. Such responses should not be cached, per RFC 2616.

Problem conclusion

  • Check response lengths and don't cache if response is
incomplete. Fix ported from Apache PR15866, r821763.

This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs:
    - 6.0.2.41
    - 6.1.0.31
