    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: There are error J2CA0081E messages *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The current problem exists in an environment where Websphere
    Application Server is configured with Messaging Queue(MQ)
    Server. When the MQ server is restarted while there exists
    MQ connections in the freepool, the connections become stale.
    Later when the application tries to use these connections, an
    error message will be logged. This is very confusing to
    customers because the messages are getting logged much later
    than the MQ restart.

    Note: This APAR does not generally block all the J2CA0081E
    error messages, especially when they are legally logged. It is
    applicable only in those cases that are explained above.

Problem conclusion

  • The current APAR avoids logging an error message to SystemOut,
    when the stale connections are being removed from freepool.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.9. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
