PK97339: MINIMUM SERVICE LEVEL ERROR WHEN INSTALLING INTERIM FIXES WITH 7.0.0.5 UPGRADE

Error description

Installing interim fixes at the same time as the WebSphere
Application Server 7.0.0.5 fix pack throws a Minimum Service
Level (MSL) error:

"Could not retrieve installation minimum service level file
information"

This occurs when applying v7.0.0.5 fix pack plus two base
interim fixes at the same time using Update Installer (UPDI)
7003 or 7005.

Installing interim fixes at the same time as a fix pack throws
a minimum service level error: "Could not retrieve
installation minimum service level file information"

Problem conclusion

To prevent the exception, we skip the lookup of minimum
service level (MSL) file information if the interim fix does
not carry it.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
page for delivery information:

Note that this problem is corrected in V7.0.0.7 of the Update
Installer. Users who need to install interim fixes with a fix
pack should download the latest version of Update Installer and
use that to install the fix pack.
