Error description

The following WMQ messaging provider properties are allowed to
end with a '*' character. However, if one of these properties is

changed to end with a '*', in either wsadmin or the admin
console, then an error will be output and the change will
not be made.

The Temporary queue prefix, Broker subscriber queue and
Broker connection consumer subscription queue field of
WebSphere MQ JMS objects should accept an asterisk '*'
character at the end of the value.

The problem affects the administrative console, and scripting
commands for creating WebSphere MQ JMS objects.

Problem conclusion

The fix for this APAR changes the administrative console and
scripting commands to allow asterisk characters as the last
character in the affected fields.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
