A JspTranslationException is thrown when running the following
code in WebSphere Application Server 7.0:

While parsing a ternary expression in EL, a
JSPTranslationException can occur if there is not a space
before or after the colon (":") in the expression. An example
expression which would cause this exception is:

Problem conclusion

The Expression Language code was modified to properly parse a
ternary expression.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
