Error description
A "java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException:Certificate chaining error" is seen after registering an Application server with an Administrative Agent on Z/OS using file based keystores.

SSL handshake errors are preventing the connections.
Problem conclusion
When file based keystores are used on Z/OS and an Application Server registers with an Administrative Agent the Administrative Agents keystore and SSL context cache is not getting cleared on both the servant and control regions. Modification were make to make sure the caches get cleared on by regions thought a mbean call. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.9.
