Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.0 * * administrative console users who configure * * generic clusters. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The administrative console sometimes * * does not show the correct value in the * * Protocol dropdown value for generic * * clusters. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The administrative console detail panel for generic clusters did not initialize the Protocol dropdown value. If the value were set to HTTPS, it would sometimes show HTTP instead. The value was correctly saved in the XML file, though.
Problem conclusion
The generic cluster detail panel in the administrative console now correctly initializes the Protocol dropdown value. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.9.
