*                      (PMI) is used to obtain the Statistics. *

When PMI is used to get the statistics of the servant JVM, and
if the same is not available then an internal connector
exception is sent to the PMI code which intern will throw a
ClassCastException.

Problem conclusion

PMi code is modified in such a way that it will be aware of
the Connector exceptions that might happen while accessing the
Servant JVM's.

APAR PM02024 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 6.1.0.31 of WebSphere Application
Server V6.1.
