Error description

  • STEPS:
    Using Jaas LoginContext the Jaas LoginModule
    com.ibm.crypto.pkcs11impl.module.PKCS11LoginModule
      is called and a subject created. This subject is sent by
      WSSubject.doAs() , and within the PrivilegedAction the EJB
    call
      is done.

    In the ssl.client.props file we set as Key- and TrustStore
    the configuration file for the cardreader.

    For Users:
    ===================
    name = XXX
    library = Xpersonal.dll
    slotListIndex = 1
    (this worked fine)

    For CSP+:
    =========
    name = XXX
    library = Xitp11.dll
    slotListIndex = 0

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    CWPKI0033E indicates that the keystore could not be loaded.
    If a programmatic login was done, it may not be necessary to
    provide a password in the ssl.client.props file. This results
    in the keystore load being called with an empty string for the
    password. However, some hardware requires the provided
    password to be null.

Problem conclusion

  • The code was corrected to provide a null for the password
    on a keystore load if an empty string password results in a
    failure.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.11. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
