Error description

This error can occur when a CICS Link Server (BBOC START_SRVR)
is running with a MXC (mac connection) set to the same value as
the WAS_DAEMON_ONLY_adapter_max_serv environment variable.
When the number of link tasks matches the number in the
adapter_max_serv variable, these messages can start to appear
and link tasks will start terminating (BBO# tasks).

Local fix

Customer can either raise the WAS_DAEMON_ONLY_adapter_max_serv
value or lower the Link Server MXC value.

The size of the cell pool used to host Optimized Local
Adapters services was not big enough to handle the maximum
number of defined services, as specified by the
adapter_max_serv environment variable.  This results in an
internal error which manifests itself as RC=12 and RSN=524334,
and can occur on calls to BBOA1RCA, BBOA1RCS, and BBOA1SRV.
Note that the Optimized Local Adapter CICS link server also
uses these APIs.  When using the link server, the error is
displayed in message BBOA8804E.

Problem conclusion

Code was added to ensure that the cell pool used to host
Optimized Local Adapters services is big enough to handle a
maximum of adapter_max_serv services at any one time.

APAR PM04018 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.11 of WebSphere
Application Server
