Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server version 7.0 and higher * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A user can not assign groups from a * * foreign realm to roles. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The security-role stanza in the ibm-application-bnd.xml has "accessId" for user and group definitions instead of "access-id".
Problem conclusion
This issue is resolved by correcting the security-role stanza in the ibm-application-bnd.xml to use "access-id" for user and for group definitions. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.11.
