Error description

When Centralized Installation Manager (CIM) is trying to
connect to the remote iSeries machine using the correct
username and password which is about to expire soon, an
exception happens and connection cannot be established.

Centralized Installation Manager depends on Tivoli Remote
Execution and Access (RXA) library to connect to remote host.
RXA uses JTOpen to connect to iSeries machine. JTOpen itself
tries to issue reminders about passwords that are about to
expire and JTOpen allows setting SignonHandler to handle such
events. But the RXA library does not provide this ability in
earlier releases. From RXA v2.2 on a new API was introduced
which can support this scenario.

Problem conclusion

Centralized Installation Manager now is using RXA v2.3 so will
fix this issue using the new API.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.11.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
