When converting an application server to a cluster and
specifying the "resourceScope=cluster" parameter the following
exception occurs:

On inspection, the server level resources.xml will be seen to
contain a WebSphere Relational Resource adapter that has
factories referencing datasource resources that do not exist.

The problem occurs because prior to the conversion, factories
were added to the WebSphere Relational Resource adapter, and
these factories referenced datasources elsewhere in the file.
On conversion, the datasources are moved to the cluster scope,
but the adapter, by design, is only copied. This results in
dangling references in the server resources file.

Problem conclusion

The problem is resolved by removing all factories from the
relational resource adapter on conversion. This ensures there
are no dangling references.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.11.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
