Error description

• When a session is expiring and at the same time being
  invalidated by another method (explicitly or by the
  invalidateWhenReady freature), a race condition might occur
  that could lead to a NullPointerException.

  The canceling of the expiration timer on the application
  session when an invalidation accrues was not thread
  concurrency protected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem was fixed by properly synchronizing the timer
  cancel and firing operations.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
