Error description
For a hashtable login the realm needs to be validated. This needs to be consistent with the behavior for an LTPA token. The realm needs to be validated against the list of trusted realms specified for the domain.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: For WebSphere Application Server, the * * hashtable login must verify that the * * realm name is trusted. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** For WebSphere Application Server, identity assertion during a hashtable login must validate that the received realm name is either the current realm, the administrative realm, or is a trusted realm before allowing identity assertion. The received realm to validate is the realm name specified for the property com.ibm.wsspi.security.token.AttributeNameConstants.WSCREDENTIAL _REALM. If such property was not set, then the received realm is the realm extracted from the com.ibm.wsspi.security.token.AttributeNameConstants.WSCREDENTIAL _UNIQUEID property in the hashtable.
Problem conclusion
The security code was modified to validate that the received realm is either the current realm, the administrative realm, or is a trusted realm before allowing identity assertion in a hashtable login. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.13.
