Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED:  WebSphere Application Server Feature Pack   *

    *                  ( CEA ) users of Session Initiation         *
    *                  Protocol (SIP) container.                   *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The SIP contianer didn't support a      *
    *                      proxy scenario where the application    *
    *                      proxied a request to a different        *
    *                      transport.                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    SIP container set the Route header to the incoming listening
    point. If the application switched transports the Route header
    should reflect that.
    

Problem conclusion

  • SIP container now supports RFC 5658 which will add two Route
    headers, one for each transport.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 1.0.0.7 Please refer to the Recommended Updates
