PM17220: SIP CONTAINER DOES NOT PROXY A 200 OK TO PRACK

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The 200 OK to PRACK is never sent back to the caller for the
  following scenario:
  - Phone sends INVITE to WebSphere Application Server. WebSphere
  Application Server proxies to far-end.
  - Far-end sends 180 ringing. WebSphere Application Server
  proxies back to caller.
  - Caller sends PRACK. WebSphere Application Server proxies
  PRACK to far-end.
  - Far-end sends 200 OK to PRACK. WebSphere Application Server
  does not proxy a 200 OK to PRACK.

  The Session Initiation Protocol ( SIP ) container does not
  identify the response that is being sent from the proxy
  application code and continues with the regular flow
  

Problem conclusion

• The SIP container is now identifying that the proxy
  application sent a response and stops the proxy process by
  acting as a UAS.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 1.0.0.7.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
