    ****************************************************************
In a cluster environment, attributes of a SIP session are
replicated between application servers in the cluster. Each
attribute is written to an object stream before delivery to
    the backup container.
The problem occurs when the code that serializes the attribute
value throws an exception of type java.lang.Error (or one that
extends java.lang.Error). The container does not catch such
exceptions properly, and does not recover from this situation.
Under specific timing conditions, this failure may cause the
application server to stop processing future SIP calls.

Problem conclusion

  • The container now properly handles this situation.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 1.0.0.7 for the Feature Pack for Communications
Enabled Applications. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
