Error description

  • Enclaves created in WebSphere for workmanager threads are not

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WorkManager enclaves not deleted *
    *                      causing a hang                          *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When work is submitted to the WorkManager for execution the
    WorkManager would go ahead and create enclaves which
    eventually gets pinned however does not get deleted when WLM
    classification is not inherited from the thread that created it.
    This leads to enclaves getting created but not deleted.

Problem conclusion

  • The existing code has been modified to delete enclaves
    inactive and created by the WorkManager.
