APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Some values, such as AppServerPortPreference, are not saved
  when doing a cell-wide generation if there is a different value
  in the pre-existing configuration file.
  

Local fix

• Delete the existing plugin-cfg.xml file and regenerate the
  plugin to create a new file.

  Cell wide plug-in configuration generation is designed to
  merge new changes with existing configuration. If changes do
  not need to be preserved in the existing configuration, you
  specify -force yes when generating. When force was specified
  it was not saving all the values.
  

Problem conclusion

• The -force yes option will now delete the existing
  configuration to ensure that none of the previous values are
  preserved.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 6.1.0.37 and 7.0.0.17.  Please refer to the
  Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
