When the login ID contains a single quote, login may fail with a virtual member manager (vmm) exception/ Login fails when a user logs in with name containing an apostrophe and a vmm search is performed which incorrectly escapes the single quote Exception as follows com.ibm.websphere.wim.exception.WIMSystemException: CWWIM4520E The 'javax.naming.InvalidNameException: CN=spnego\\\'testuser,CN=Users,DC=company,DC=ibm,DC=com: [LDAP: error]

Problem conclusion
