Error description

No proper exception messages passed over to the application
client while connected to WebSphere Application Server securely.

Even when the
com.ibm.websphere.security.registry.propagateExceptionsToClient=
true
property is set on the application server, the exceptions from
the server side are not passed over to the client properly.

*                      populate it with error stack            *
*                      information                             *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

When exceptions do not have enough information in
e.getMessage(), Java client may not be able to determine the
error cause on the server side. This APAR adds code so
WebSphere makes best effort to populate exception message using
error stack information before propagating exception to the
client.

Problem conclusion

Code is updated to propagate as much information as possible
when Exception does not have message in the exception.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 6.1.0.37 and 7.0.0.15.  Please refer to the
