  When Certificate is used for authentication virtual member
  manager (VMM) fails while authenticating the user and throws
  a NullPointerException while searching the search base for
  different entity types.
  

Problem conclusion

• We have added a null check before searching the search base
  for different entity types
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 6.1.0.37 and 7.0.0.17.  Please refer to the
