Error description

  • The detailed wsadmin scripting help message for the
    configureLoginModule command displays the wrong description
    for newModule and modifyModule parameters as follows,
    
    WASX8006I: Detailed help for command: configureLoginModule
    
    Description: Configures a login module in the administrative
    security configuration or in an application security domain.
    
    Target object:   None
    
    Arguments:
    customProperties - Specifies a comma separated list of
    attribute=value custom property pairs to be added to the
    security object.
    modifyModule - modifyModule
    securityDomainName - Name used to uniquely identify the
    security domain.
    newModule - newModule
    *loginType - Specifies the login module type.  Valid values
    are: system, application
    *loginEntryAlias - The alias name that identifies the login
    module entry.
    authStrategy - The login module authentication strategy,
    Values include REQUIRED, REQUISITE, SUFFICIENT, and OPTIONAL.
    *loginModule - The login module class file name
    useLoginModuleProxy - Use a login module proxy

    configureLoginModule command shows the incorrect descriptions
    for newModule and modifyModule options.  The following wsadmin
    command shows the incorrect description,
    
    $AdminTask help -commandGroup configureLoginModule
    ...
    Description: Configures a login module in the administrative
    security configuration or in an application security domain.
    
    Target object:   None
    
    Arguments:
    customProperties - Specifies a comma separated list of

    security object.
    modifyModule - modifyModule

Problem conclusion

  • The help for the configureLoginModule command has been
    modified to display the correct description strings for
    newModule and modifyModule options as follows,
    
    newModule - New login module
    modifyModule - Modify login module specified by the ordinal
    number starting from 1.
