PM35450: WEBCONTAINER RETURNS NULL VALUE FOR PARAMETER WITH no "=" in URI QUERY STRING

Error description

When the server receives a request like this:

http://host:port/context/resource?Test

and the application calls request.getParameter("Test"), the
server returns null as the value. However some frameworks like
Spring Roo expect an empty string ("") as the return value.
This APAR is to provide a switch to support such frameworks.

Problem summary

If the query parameter in a URL does not have "name=value"
format but only has "name" with no "=" then the server will
return the value of the request.getParameter("name") as null.

Problem conclusion

WebContainer code has been updated and an empty string is
returned as the value for the request.getParameter("name") for
"name" as a query parameter. To get this new behavior please
add this new WebContainer custom property to the server,
com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.AllowQueryParamWithNoEqual =
true(default =false).
