Error description

When specifying a generic jvm augment for the servant region
during template creation from the admin console, the values are
save incorrectly to the control region.  Thus when the template
is used to built another Application Server.  The newly built
application server will have the generic jvm augment set in the
wrong JVM.

The console was not correctly determining the platform for the
server template configuration when setting the JVM properties.

Problem conclusion

Use the correct method to determine the platform when the
administrative console is setting server template JVM
properties.

APAR PM35587 is currently targeted for inclusion in
Service Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.19 and 8.0.0.1 of WebSphere
Application Server
