Error description

When a simple environment entry is declared using the
@Resource annotation in a Java EE 5 module, the description is
ignored. The description element is never created for the
environment entry within the merged deployment descriptor.

When a simple environment entry is declared using the
@Resource annotation in a Java EE 5 module, the description is
ignored. The description element is never created for the
environment entry within the merged deployment descriptor,
and therefore never visible to deployers or system
administrators when installing, viewing, or editing an
application.

Problem conclusion

The code has been corrected so that the description is
properly merged into the deployment descriptor of the
application.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.19.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
